I have a few times. First ya get out the table saw, then the tape measure and set the fence just right. Bam ya got yourself a 2x4 from a 4x4. Its easier to buy one.

you can remove the stock front axle and bolt in a solid axle from a 2wd cab and chassie truck and cut the front springs to lower it a bit. but to go to a ifs, forget it get another truck.

Your truck has the four link and coils. I think it would cost more than it is worth. Why don't you do a trade with somebody on here? That way two people are real happy at the same time!!!!

You will be much farther ahead finacially and there will be no labour involved to sell your 4x4 and buy a 2x4.....just strip all your goodies off your 4x4 and put them on the 2x4....
