47RH - Slow to fill converter and...
The 47RH in my 94 is very slow to fill the converter. Also, a few times I have put the truck in either D or R and the truck stalled. You could feel the load put on the engine before the stall. Any Advice?

The tranny doesn't pump fluid in P, shift to N after start up for faster fill.
Sounds like your idle is too low, they tend to creep down over the years.
