3K GSK love it, now need to lower EGTS
i got my 3 gsk in finally and i love it, i can hit over 30 psi and it helps alot in getting up to speed pullin loads. Now my egt's were already a little high before then and now i can hit 1600* easily, im tight on cash also, any suggestions on help lowering egt's?

stock turbo basically means heat with just a 0 plate .. you need to get more and/or colder air in there. Thats where a bigger turbo steps in. It will give you more dense air per pound of boost then a stock turbo will. This means you have the potential to have less smoke and egts while gaining hp

If you are at 30 psi, you could squeeze a bit more boost out of it yet. Pull your plate back a bit if you like. Both of those are just band aids though, until you get your turbo money.

I had my wastegate completely blocked and it would make 35-38 psi WOT on the highway. Dont go over 38 psi on a stock turbo because you wont get more power out of it and you are pushing your head gasket as well. I also kept my rpms below 2250. Timing would help a little, 16.5 is what i run for now.
