k well i had starter issues with my 95 sometimes the starter would stick or not evenb make contact so it would click a couple times and then start fine ...took the starter off this weekend...opened it up...one of the contact points was fried (almost) cleaned that up...sprayed some contact cleaner everywhere and put her back together...starts like new!!!amost too fast lol

anyways......after that ive been driving with it and maybe its my imagination but the truck takes a tad bit longer to lock up in 3rd...overdrive works fine and engages fine.....truck shifts crisp in every gear though no problems and TC never slips i have stock power

it just sits there in 3rd a tad bit longer before lockup

question is could i have hit something accidently under there to put it out of whack?? or maybe is it just time to change the tranny fluid and get a flush?

You may have stretched the throttle cable or bent the throttle lever? guessing

hey smokee...ur from ontario! excellent then i can bug u a bit...where do i go to get a good torque converter...how about a transgo shift kit? im in new market
