I have a 93 w250 and want to put some 2nd gen axles on them. Has anybody done this or know what needs to be done? Any help would be great! Thanks

 

LOL, Us second gen guys would love to be able to drop a first gen under ours...........

Well I want a coil conversion and would need 2nd gen axles.. So I'm asking what I will need to do for the switch

 

I would worry about the 2nd gen Dan 60 pumpkin being on the wrong side for the 1st gen trucks front driveshaft, than what the hub caps look like, but that is just me.

Or the coil suspension, four links, ETC

 

Easiest would be a frame swap, not sure if you have to lengthen or shorten......

As Oliver said, you would also have to either get a Ford 205 TC or a Dodge 241 from a second gen.....

Bottom line is it is very involved, I would probably do a custom 4 link rather than follow the Dodge stuff exactly unless I was doing a frame swap.
