2200+rpm miss

Any more than about half throttle at or above about 2200 rpm there is a loss of power/missing.If you are easy on the throttle it is fine.Just replaced fuel filter and over flow valve, any other ideas would be great. Thanks

sounds like a bad throttle cable, do you know if its been replaced, there was a recall for it getting stretched.

There is little to no smoke when it is missing.

check and see if there is air in the fuel lines. Do you have a muffler or a cat on your exhaust? if you do it maybe clogged. another thing that should be checked is timing, it may have sliped.

Truck was stock when I purchased it so all mods are new.The timing is next on my list. But for the last month all I have done is work on/dump money into this truck so I think it will stay parked for awhile. Thanks Justin
