1998 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel

Just wondering if there is anything on this truck that i should know about? Any facts or things that may become a problem anytime soon.
Any info would be awsome (First Diesel)

Its a 1998 Dodge Ram Cummins Turbo Diesel 2WD.(4 speed Automatic(standard Dudy)) Has 129,000km. It has mechanical Injectors, i think that would mean that it is a 12 Valve?

Has the previous modified it at all? the Truck looks clean, transmission would be the weakest link. But if he hasn't been hard on it, it should still be fine with those kilometers.

Allready got it. (for a price i couldn't refuse) but if its not going to be good then i could get ride of it.

I plan to haul a 5000+ pound trailer for several hours every weekend. Is a 4 speed going to be ok?

Start here from a Dodge TSB http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1997/14-07-97/part1.htm
Congrats on the truck. Very low mileage for that age.

I can already tell that truck's no good. Yessir. Don't worry though... I'll come up there and take it off your hands!

Seriously, it looks like a great truck. Glad to hear you snapped it up. It really looks clean. You won't be sorry I don't think.
