HEY GUYS MY DAD IS ON THE ROAD PULLING HIS FIFTH WHEEL AND HIS TRUCK WILL NOT IDLE WHEN HE STOPS AT A RED LIGHT HE IS HAVING TO RIDE THE BRAKE TO KEEP THIS THING RUNNING BTU ONCE YOU GET ABOVE AN IDLE IT RUNS LIKE A CHAMP ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT AND THANKS IN ADVANCE

 

Turn up the idle screw on the injection pump. Located to rear of the pump by the lever. 10mm loosen lock nut on the bottom then turn screw 1/2 turn cw viewed from bottom that should do it. Hold screw from turning then tighten locknut. Don't forget to tighten locknut or the screw will rotate out and idle rpm will go down again. Set to 750 to 800 rpm in gear ac on at operating temp is the spec.
