1997 2500 12 valve 2wd
Hi, I just bought a 97 2500 with 196K miles.. It runs great, put new front shocks on it, now it rides great too... The rear end is open, one wheel pulls only.. How involved is it to install a posi-trac ? I have installed one in my Jeep before, but didnt like it because the ratchet lock made some popping noises at times on hard pavement.
thanks

You'll need to come up with a Dana 70 TrakLok rear gear set. Try DTR member RedlineAR, who also sells on ebay under that name. He runs a Dodge-Cummins wrecking yard in Hartman, Arkansas
If a posi makes popping sounds on pavement generally you need to add some friction modifier.
