12v Tranny shifting funny!!!
On my 12 valver I got the tranny rebuilt, but I did it because I would be driving down the road and it would kick in and out of overdrive and the guy that I had do the work said that that would fix the problem. It still does it, any ideas??

shifting in and out of overdrive sounds like the throttle position sensor(tps). try taking it off and cleaning it out sometimes they will get dirty and sends the wrong voltage kicking the tranny in and out of overdrive. if cleaning it doesn't help than it might need to be adjusted or replaced. im sure the guys will chime in with more info.

As you probably know, that can also be caused by faulty voltage. This can be can bad battery. Check the voltage is each, and if you replace one, replace two.

Also there is a issue with the brake sw. getting out of spec. hitting a bump just enough wiggle for the peddle to bounce and turn off OD & cruse.
I bent the mount to give the sw. a little more space.
