Hi all, i was wondering if you could help me figure out what pistons i have in my motor. It is out of a 98 blue bird school bus, p pump. i am in the process of rebuilding and upgrading the motor. I have heard that this may be the marine type pistons? If so would this not be ideal? Trying to figure out what route to go. It was a good running motor with under 200k so i was hoping to just hone, rings, reseal and go through the head. i will be upgrading the injectors so i am trying to find out if these pistons are good to use. Its going in a F350, looking for 400hp. Anyone have suggestions. Thanks

 

Those look like the same pistons in my 97 but I am not 100 % sure . Why at that mileage are you going through the engine ?
