Well maybe you got some lucky 370's... If you are going to do a more aggressive fuel plate then just stay with the 215's if you want a less agressive plate and more injector than do that but you can get the same hp 300-340 if you want to keep your turbo stock. If it were me I would get a #8 or #6 plate with a upgraded compressor wheel (costs the same as new injectors) because the cost of a plate is the same regardless if you do a #12 or a #4. TST's plates are on sale right now too $205 shipped

Conn, I don't see a gsk listed in your sig. If you don't have one, I'd go for that before the 191's. I went with 215's in my '95 but kept the stock delivery valves; the turbo is stock and was 6 or 7 yrs ago. The gsk made all the difference in the world as far as being able to use the new found power. With my truck set up as my sig states, it sits at 236hp/555ftlbs at the rear wheels.

the truck has the GSK washer mod. it revs nicely to 3300. the previous owner performed the mod (he is a DTR member) i was thinking aboout swaping the washer mod for a 4k kit.

My daily driving ranges from 15.5 to almost 17; when I'm on the hwy I get high 21's or low 22's cruising between 65 and 70.

My plate was free I jerked the stock one out and ground her off I dont understand spending $$$$$ on something you could do for free go ahead and get 370 they are not as bad as they are made out to be. Just do stuff once go big the first time and there wont be any wondering if you should have got bigger injectors. Just my .02

i think i'll be installing the 215s and 191s to start. i got my truck completely back together yesterday with the exception of the rocker pedistals (@ machine shop) and the injectors and DVs. The 215 injectors should be on their way, and I need to order a set of DVs to have it finished by the end of the week.

the 215s are cheap, and I don't think I can go wrong with 191s. If it's not enough power, I can re-sell the 215s for what I had in them, and go buy a set of New Era 300s or the like.

Much Thanks for all the information.

Sounds like ya got a game plan, Conn. If that's not enough power you can always slide your fuel plate forward and you'll get some more without the need to buy bigger injectors...... at least for the time being.

Hey Conn, you still wanting to time it before ya get it back together? I can probably come over Thursday night and time it if ya still want me to. We can throw your DV's in too. I think you will really like the 191/215 combo. You see what my truck made with that, and I know it is a 14 second truck. You might need to be looking for a billet input shaft though

That the only thing I'm afraid of at this juncture! I know you went through one, and Kyle just snapped one as well.

At least I know a good tranny guy. His parts prices suck though!!! Hahaha.
