37" Super Swampers

I found a set for a price that i cannot refuse. I am curious if they will clear and not tear my fender wheels out.

I think i have a skyjacker 6" lift kit. That is what the guy told me when i bought the truck. I have zero rubbing with 35 x 12.5 x 16.5 with a 16x13 rim. So will a 37" clear and maybe a little rubbing? Is there anyone running a 37" tire if so what lift did it take you to clear?

I have tuff countrys 4.5" lift with skyjacker front springs, I have approx 5-6" lift on the front and my 37" tires did not rub. Now I have 3" body on it too but that's the another story.

Check my pics and you'll see. My tires are taller than 37" swampers. I measured 37.3" for my Pro Comps.

My 37's don't rub on my truck but your wheels are almost twice as wide as mine. I think it would be easiest to get narrower wheels. Eric

I have a 6 inch lift and 39.5s, they don't rub at all, but I did move my axle 3 inches forward. I got the new 41 Irok radials on the way, hope they don't rub, or its sawzall time haha

I think it depends on the width of the tire and your wheel's width and backspaceing. in my profile I have pictures of my truck with 39's on the stock wheel. I have a 4.5" skyjacker lift. Never rubbed once. It's close though! 37x12.50 on h2 wheels wont rub either. I'm tempted to try the 38.5x14.50's but I think the width there will get me.

Well i am picking up a set of used wheels and tires tommorrow. There steel wheels with 38.5 swampers on them for 50 bucks. Woo hoo.. Then i found another set of 37" swampers like new for dirt cheap also.

I will just bolt them on and see and I will be back with pictures.

After looking at your photo. Your tires are really skinny. What is the width on the tires?

they are 11" wide. I feel on the H2 wheel (slightly less backspace then the stock wheel" That I could run a 12.5" width in the 39" hight. However I cant find anyone that makes a tire over 37" thats 12.5" wide or less besides the military. It's a shame.

Well i ended up finally picking up the tires today. There 38x15.50x16.5 Super swamper tires on wagon wheels. I got them for a awesome price of a Case of Bud Light. I am just going to use them to play if it clears and don't rub too bad. I will have pictures up in a few days. I am going to sand blast the wheels and paint them first though.

Should be fine, I'm on 4.5 inches (got around 6.5 out of the lift tho). I'm also clearing a set of 37x12.50x17 MTRs that I got for the amazing price of free haha
I've got room to go up to like a 39.5 if i wanted to, I'll probably go comfortably to a 38 tho
