Best $245 spent - Nucmotorsports Oil Bypass Filter
Of all the mods I've done to this truck, the best money I believe I ever spent (besides the smarty) was this oil bypass kit. Nucmotorsports.com, was only $245, uses Amsoil filter EABP100,
The fit and finish are super great, cool looking also, only took 30 mins to install, I wish everything went as well as this did! Instructions were superb. Wrapped everything in loom to keep from rubbing/scratching on things.
I did a fresh oil change, and kept the old oil to sent to blackstone, will wait till my next oil sample to compare the results with same mileage.
I've been looking for an affordable bypass for years, and I wanted a all in one kit, bracket and everything, amsoil's site just never had that. I didn't want to pay big bucks for the other brands also.
Overall, I wish I knew about this sooner, who ever posted this item on the forum thanks!
Enjoy the pics, hope they help. John

Full flow oil filters oil filter down to 30-50 microns, bypass units filter down to 2 microns, the oil is sent in very small quantities, like 30 gals per hour to the filter.
Hence, extended oil intervals, cleaner engine, longer life, cost reduction on maintenence, less soot in oil. Regular tests are key if you want to extend drains significantly.
Best to google "Oil Bypass", there really is tons of good info out there, the big trucks/semi's/heavy equipment use them alot.
I have my oil tested here, they are good. So are many other oil analysis places.

Check out nucmotorsports web site too, lots of good info. nucmotorsports.com
There are lots other options available for the cummins, everyone has there own preference.

The deluxe, looks cool, but not for me, I can oil sample with my drain fingertouch thing, and the gauge, I would problably hit it or break it my luck. Each its own, to me, keep it simple and clean.
I'm still a bit leary on running oil lines, that to me is the most important part, run a leak, and its to late.... Trust me I'll be checking it often for the next few weeks.
