Cool the 1st gen pulling truck thread

Well I've decided to start a new thread for all of the 1st gen pulling trucks. I am new to pulling this year and did my first pull a few weeks ago, even though I have watched and paid a lot of attention to local pulls over the past years. I know there is a few 1st gen pullers on here so post your vids, pics, tips and questions here. Oh and some carnage pics (bound to have some) Even if you have a pee pumped 1st gen or a 1st gen motor in somethin else, post it up and keep us posted on your pulls and how you did. This is definately a fun sport and is very addicting, but can get expensive real fast

Pulltilbroke, CaptainChrysler, Stillsmokin and myself are the ones I can think of but I'm sure there is more of you out there or that would like to give it a try. Its good to see these ol square bodied dodges lay a woopin on the newer trucks.

I'll start off with a few pics of my truck at my first pull a few weeks ago

and heres a vid, I ran in the 2.6 8000 lb class and pulled 270' for my first pull. I still can't believe it all held but I'm gonna keep pullin til it breaks
http://youtu.be/MMimFV4sIhE

I'll probably pull again on July 9th and hopefully come home in one piece

keep this alive, should be a fun thread

definately don't under estimate the VE pump, I'm out to surprise people with mine and stayin a with the VE (might go 14mm though someday). The way I look at it is I've got nothin to lose, if I beat a common rail or pee pumper than that is pretty neat and might wow some people... and if I lose then big woop i'm just a ve

Terry, you up for some more pullin this year? I think you need to give it another try

I'll try to get up some pics of mine hooked to the sled.

I got a video from last weekend of me smoking the transfer case. Made for some good video, though.

Here's my first somewhat successful pull. I learned the hard way that I am stuck in 1st high until I get a dual disk. It really is a rush!
