70 Amp relay #F80B-14B192-AA found in Ford Crown Vic
Thought I would share a cheap source for used 70A fuel solinoid relays
I was helping a buddy pull a Ford trans at the local Pull a Part. I go over to a crown vic and pull some relays out and one of them has BIG load terminals & made in Canada. I buy it, run the part # F80B-14B192-AA on google, sort through many pages of nonsence, find the NSN number & technical specs,
70A in cab relay Freightliner FL70.
It appears to be discontinued from Ford. It is working just fine for my fuel solinoid "pull" relay. Just look for older 4.6L crown vic or rear drive Lincolin, pass side fender, electrical box just big enough for two relays, check for a 70A relay.
Gotta be better than the new Chinese junk!
P.S. I tried to buy a 70A relay from NAPA, every 70A part # in the book came up "discontinued" on PROlink! I ended up buying a OMC 70A tilt/trim relay off ebay, but it took 2 to get a 1 good relay.
